Crowns are used in situations where the damage to the tooth or teeth is too extensive to be repaired with a regular filling. Each crown is shaped like the tooth it’s protecting, and while some are made of gold and other metals, others are composed of tooth-colored materials that look extremely natural in the mouth. In short, we can design a crown that resembles your natural teeth so closely that it will almost be as if your smile never suffered from any damage in the first place.
A filling is ideal if you have a small cavity or minor dental damage that needs to be addressed. Our fillings are made out of a composite resin that’s shaded to blend in with your natural tooth enamel. The result is that the enamel looks like a natural part of your tooth once it’s in place.
