When we’re educating your child about dental health, we can show them the best techniques for brushing and flossing. However, they won’t master these techniques right away; it takes time to develop the coordination necessary to keep the entire smile clean. In the meantime, we can apply thin plastic barriers called dental sealants to the teeth near the back of the mouth in order to give them additional protection during the early stages of your child’s dental development.

Luckily, there’s a quieter, more comfortable way to address minor decay with the help of silver diamine fluoride. The fluoride helps remineralize and strengthen the enamel while the silver kills the bacteria responsible for the decay. It effectively stops cavities from developing any further, and it can be applied as part of a quick, painless treatment, which is good for children with dental anxieties.
It can be nerve-wracking to know that one wrong move on the field or court could leave your child with a broken or missing tooth. But as long as they’re wearing one of our custom-mouthguards, you can let them play their favorite sports with full confidence that their smiles are well protected. You can buy athletic mouthguards at the store, but they won’t offer the same level of protection and comfort as an oral appliance made specifically for your child’s mouth.
