Karla has been a part of the dental world for over 40 years! She truly enjoys getting to know our patients on a personal level. Over the years, she has seen children grow up, get married, and bring their own children to join our dental family. She also brings a lot of tenacity when it comes to helping people get the most out of their dental insurance benefits. On top of her foundational dental training at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California she maintains her status as a nationally Certified Dental Assistant. Karla is a continuing education enthusiast and loves staying in-the-know with the dental industry as it develops and evolves so she can provide the best care possible for patients.
Karla is the proud mother of two adult daughters, and she also has a beloved grandson named Luke. She is a big fan of musical theater, plays, and opera. Karla is also an avid traveler who has been to Paris, London, Rome, Venice, and Vienna to name a few locations, and she’s always planning her next trip.
Karen has over 30 years of dental experience and has been with our practice for over a decade. Work is always exciting for her because she says that our practice has the absolute best patients! Her favorite thing about her job is having the chance to connect with others while helping them achieve and maintain their best oral health. She received her Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Howard College in Big Spring, TX.
Karen is a proud mom of four wonderful children and loves hanging out with them. The majority of her free time is dedicated to driving between and attending her kids’ various extracurricular activities. She’s always eager to cheer them on because they are her pride and joy. She’s also taken up ice hockey and likes playing with friends. One fun fact about her: she can do a backflip on the trampoline!
